Bare feet and breezes....

"And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair." ~Khalil Gibran

If you didn't have the ability to connect your bare feet to the earth (and some don't - please pipe in)...

...or feel the breezes caress your hair...

...tell me - what is your simple, sensory pleasure?

I wrote a poem on feeling the earth with your toes. Since I never felt my feet in the sand or grass. I use my other senses to feel a tree or feel the wind on my face and hair, the scent of fresh rain and the smell of the woods after it rains. I use my hands to feel the sand and grass that my feet can't. Its an amazing sensation to feel, and I still wonder is it the same as if you are putting your feet in the sand and grass?
