Flash Fiction Friday - Writing challenge based on a picture prompt. One picture to inspire one hundred words (no more, no less).

Karla posed shyly with her hands on her hips. She couldn't believe she'd let Sam talk her into this. He'd said she needed to be reminded how sexy she was. She needed to become reacquainted with this new body but wasn't sure this was the way. She felt fat, undesirable, like her body had been taken over.
“Don't be shy, love. Let's lose the black, go for something white, sheer.”
She balked at him, gently caressing her abdomen.
“Show off that gorgeous baby bump.”
Karla slid off the dress. Nude, she smiled at the flutter of life inside.

Love your take on this. Well done
It's a very sweet interpretation and having been in her shoes, more than once, I can understand. It was a very realistic post, Naomi
Love the pregnant angle on the story. And yes, nude was most comfortable when you are pregnant! Very sweet. Nicely done.
awww, very sweet post Luna. Well done.
E~
Aww, that was super sweet, Luna. More women should feel beautiful when they pregnant because they are. Wonderful post.
Very beautiful and romantic. I loved it!
Nice take off on this one - very well done
Oh I love your interpretation. Nicely done!
:D
What a lovely post! I always felt great when I was pregnant. It reminded me of the pleasure of having a round belly and loving it. Great post!
lovely post- really captured the growth moment - from insecurity to confidence :)
Loved this post! I wuldn't have thought of the pregnancy angle. Nicely done!
Aw, thanks everyone!! It's cool so many of you can relate. I LOVED being pregnant and can't wait to be so again one day.
People keep joking that's the answer to my health problems. You see, pregnancy and BFing put my Fibromyalgia symptoms into remission and it didn't rear its ugly head again until just recently. It didn't last, but that was 3 years of blissful body normality. I'll take it! Obviously, that's not a reason to have a baby. But, it was a damn awesome perk!
Pregnancy made me love being naked and helped my confidence and to get over some of my body-shyness. I can't stand to have anything but my sheet (and skin) touching my legs now when I sleep. ;)

Oh wow - yeah, I loved being preggers with my two and wouldn't mind it again...just don't want another teenager in my house. *heads desk* Oh great was this FFF! Wonderful! :)
very lovely description of pregnancy. sometimes women feel so clumsy and unpretty, this post reminds me of the actual beauty of it all. nice fff
Aaaawwww....loved the pregnancy angle. I hated being pregnant. Feeling that first flutter of life was amazing, but puking my guts out for nine months, sciatica, and three months of bed rest sucked balls.
GREAT JOB!!
Katie, I hear you on the sciatica which is left-over, but it's nice to have a good reason for pain for a change. It's all about that first flutter, not the other sometimes miserable side effects. Bed rest? Poor you!
Havan: Two teens? Eek! Can't say I blame you. I learned this was the very reason my Mom had my siblings and I so close in age. She felt amazing during pregnancy too.
Davee: My body came into its own during/after pregnancy. I was never on the growth charts as a kid and not having people believe I was of-age got old. Course, I don't mind it so much now. Gained some curves and a womanly figure, which was welcome. :)

Awwww, so sweet! I loved your FFF! Well done!
Hmm, this was an unexpected, but still a very nice twist on the picture. That's really one of the very cool aspects of FFF, how everyone can put their own interpretation on a picture. Luna, as a man I can't totally relate to the feeling of being with child, but I can say without hesitation that a pregnant woman is so very beautiful. Well done.
Benjamin, thanks! It's nice when you have a partner that's supportive and finds you sexy in that state of being! :) It's been said that some men have empathy for a pregnant woman and even can experience empathy labor pains. My sister and I both felt each other's contractions. It will be interesting to see when the time comes, down the line, if my naturally empathic man will experience any of that. I love to see the creative turns people take with these challenges.

Aw. That was such a great thing for him to do to make her realize how sexy she still is. Wonderful FFF. :)
Nicely done Luna! Loved the twist at the end. ;-)
I too loved this one. There is nothing sexier to me than a pregnant woman. Ripe! I know they don't always feel it, but they are. A good man knows this!
So beautiful. I can picture him snapping the picture the instant she feels the flutter. Loved your post!
Lovely post!!
