I'm just a busy little networking bee, lately!
I finally joined Twitter: @LunaEroticaMyst - come friend and follow me. :)
Waiting for winners to be announced for the Literotica Halloween Contest. I'm so pleased with how this story has done and the "series" as a whole. I've been getting so much feedback urging me to publish the two Jersey Love stories as a novel, maybe to amazon. It's a thought!
~~~
This time of year in particular, Spirits are wandering, passing through, and looking for help. "Alyssa" from ~Jersey Love: Apple Dreams & Release~ is still here, but quietly waiting. I feel she's waiting until Halloween night to cross over. She's happy that her story has been told and the cheeky little thing is even enjoying the comments on my story. Can you imagine how lonely a girl must be with her family completely ignoring her existence, let alone presence? She's finally let up on the sorrowful songs on the radio.
I still haven't found her loved ones. But she indicates that telling her story is enough for her for now. She's 15 (but likes to think she's 16). She died in a car crash on the way to a Halloween Dance/Party. Her family is so aggrieved that they will not speak of her, nor acknowledge "that I even lived." She's been distressed about it, but has been lightening up ever since I started sharing her story and talking about her and letting her know someone cares.
It's SNOWING and my mind is now turned towards wintry thoughts and winter story ideas. ;)
I've not only been busy networking for my writing, but also for my Mediumship Consultation. I'm twitterpated on that end too and have also been listed on a couple of Spiritual directories.
I'd like to share my website link here. It is not my intention to make anyone uncomfortable nor to force my views on anyone. I am just sharing another facet of myself that might help to explain my writing. :) If you think that I could help you or are even curious and have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
~*Jersey Love: Halloween and Apple Dreams*~ fin.
I finally finished ~*Jersey Love: Halloween and Apple Dreams*~. I don't think I've ever felt so compelled, or written so furiously and intensely as I did with this story. I was like a madwoman on the keyboard. I had a young, teenage Spirit girl influencing the story and putting her thoughts and emotions into it.
She's not earthbound, but she's in a transition period and can easily project her emotions outward. For instance, every time I turn the radio on, the song "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry is playing.
I know she's doing that. "My Immortal" by: Evanescence
And "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls are getting repetitive too.
While this is one of the easiest ways for Spirits to get through to us, through the medium of music, I finally had to ask her to ease up a little when various YouTube videos about grief and loss kept popping up on my screen. She kept saying, "Just write." I told her if she didn't stop distracting me, I wouldn't be able to finish the story and help her.
Last night she lightened up and today she's but a gentle whisper in my ear. I was able to complete the story and at 32,000+ words, between this story, and ~*Jersey Summer Love*~, I have my first full novel-length piece.
Do you know? I don't think in the past couple of years with the exception of a few, I have been visited by/nor asked for help from a Spirit younger than 25? I've been distraught.
The little one ares hard. Their age makes it challenging to sometimes get them to understand, but once they are comfortable with you and the angels help out, they go pretty easily and find peace.
Youth on the other hand, are difficult to explain things to and to help cross. They put up more resistance, have more questions. Teens and college-aged kids seem so involved in their Earthly lives even when those lives have ended. They still operate in ego. This is more in regards to sudden passings. They want to be hanging with their friends, playing their music, sports, being involved, enjoying their bedrooms, their pets, their cars and bikes, and they have a hard time letting go. This is not an all the time thing, it's just something I've noticed.
I couldn't help but notice that with this girl. She's vibrant, but still holding back. I just hope now that the story is complete it will be enough for her to move on. Or someone will read the story and recognize her and acknowledge her. I've done all I can do for her.
I'll share the link to the story once it clears the Submission process for the Halloween contest.
Update and Jersey Halloween Story...
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! I've been sick for a couple of weeks. A nasty gum infection compounded things. I'm on antibiotics now and on the mend.
In the meantime, I've been busy working on Raina and Logan's continued love story from "Jersey Summer Love." I'm hoping I finish it in time to enter it into Literotica's Halloween Contest. I have until the 22nd before the contest closes for new submissions. Winners are announced the 29th. Luckily, I am nearing wrap-up time and might just make it.
There are still Shore elements in the story, keeping it a true Jersey tale. Raina's health issues take a front seat in this story, more than the previous, providing for much of the conflict throughout the story. But the story has taken a paranormal turn. Now, if you're a regular reader of my stories or know me personally, it will come as no big surprise that this has occurred. I follow my characters and plots and when Spirit becomes involved, I let them have their say too. I've managed to avoid the "haunted house" route and remain respectful of the energies present, as well as use sensitivity and tact in showing a real life portrayal of being a Sensitive.
Which brings me to the next thing that has kept me from all of you. I'm about to launch my own Mediumship Consultation/Spirit Connection website and business. I've been feeling the nudge lately that it's time to get myself out there and share my abilities with more people. A lot of people are becoming more open to the healing and peace that can come from Spirit Connection.
I have already had my first official session. It went really well. It gave me that last bit of confidence I needed to know this is the right place for me now. I've gotten great feedback and hope that once I am fully recovered and have my voice back, I will be able to reach those in need and provide them with messages, comfort, and validations from their Loved Ones.
I guess knowing all of this makes it no surprise that my story did in fact take a Spirit-Story turn. The story remains a Romance through and through. But I'm still debating which Category to place it. I'm hoping that a disclaimer in the beginning of the story will suffice to warn people. It really doesn't have enough strong elements of the paranormal to go Non-Human, but might do well Sci-Fi/Fantasy. We'll see.
I hope YOU are all well! I will post a link to the story, once I finish and submit it. Enjoy! :)
